The mission of Volanz Aerospace, Inc. is to provide space
science and space-related high technology education and research
opportunities for students fo all ages. Volanz Aerospace fosters
learning and academic excellence by working with students,
scientists, and educators to create a safe, fulfilling, and
academically enriching environment for Science,
Technology, Engineering, and
Spaceflight Institute™ offers an intensive program of
learning, confidence building and teamwork within a space motif and
is designed for students who have a high interest in the area of
Western Shores Institute is now a wholly owned subsidiary of
Volanz Aerospace Inc. Western Shores Institute will soon
offer a Spaceflight Management Program, which will provide
Program Management education tailored to the growing
spaceflight management and operations field.
Spaceflight Museum will open in 2014 at the Arthur Storer
Planetarium in Prince Frederick, Maryland. The museum will specialize in manned Spaceflight operations.
Many of the artifacts are also brought to schools as part of a Traveling Museum
Program. This program allows the sharing of historic NASA and other space artifacts
directly with students. Many of these artifacts can be handled by the students who also have
an opportunity to actually wear space equipment, such as astronaut gloves and space suits.
